The real tool, on real supplement hooks.

We read 1,428 supplement ads still running on Meta. 390 had been live for more than three months, 29 for more than a year.

Brands rarely keep paying for a losing ad that long. Those are the hooks you start from, and nearly every one links to the ad it came from.

The hooks inside come from ads run by

The first three seconds decide the ad. Most briefs leave them to luck.

Lose the viewer before second three and nobody sees the product. Tick what happened this month.

Brief from hooks other supplement brands have already paid to run, and your creator starts from proof instead of a blank line.

Brief from hooks other supplement brands have already paid to run, and your creator starts from proof instead of a blank line.

From blank brief to first line in four taps.

  1. 1

    Search what you sell

Type sleep, creatine, bloating or GLP-1. You get the hooks supplement brands have been running, word for word.

  2. 2

    Narrow to your product

Gummies, creatine, greens, GLP-1 and ten more, each with its own count. Gummies alone has 613.

  3. 3

    Put the proven hooks first

Sort by how long each ad has been live. A hook a brand has paid for over six months outranks one that launched last week.

  4. 4

    Make it yours

Most hooks come with a fill-in template. Drop in your product, copy the line, paste it into the brief.

The hooks brands use most aren't the ones they run longest.

Story openers are the second most common hook we read (118 ads) and run a median 30 days. Hooks that lead with one specific result are rarer (38 ads) and run 70.5 days.

Median days live by hook type, from 1,428 supplement ads still running when we read them in the Meta Ad Library. The six longest-running types and the five most used. Tap a hook type to see what it is.

Brief the hook types brands keep paying for, and less of your test budget goes on the ones they drop.

Type your product. Get four hooks ready for the brief.

Each template comes from a real supplement ad that has run for months. Your version hasn't run yet, so test it like any new creative.

Some hooks come with all three: on-screen text, voiceover and visual.

Your creator gets the line, your editor gets the on-screen text, both from the same ad.

19 supplement hooks have all three so far (294 across the whole library). The rest give you the spoken line word for word, which is what the Ad Library records.

What founders say

My briefs used to say “make the hook catchy”. Now I paste three hooks that ran past 90 days and let the creator pick the one that sounds like them.

Shaanks makes ads for supplement brands. We built this library for our own briefs: hooks pulled from the Meta Ad Library, transcribed word for word, sorted by how long the ad has run and linked back to the real ad.

Questions

What exactly do I get for $19?

Your own login to the supplement library: 1,784 supplement hooks you can search, filter by product, sort by days live and turn into your own line with a template. One payment, no subscription.

I sell more than supplements. Can I get every niche?

Yes. Every niche is $29: 9,041 hooks across 22 niches, from skincare and haircare to pets, home and apparel. Choose it at checkout. If you start with supplements, you can upgrade from inside the library for the $10 difference.

I already write good hooks. What does this add?

Proof of what lasted. Before you borrow a competitor's opening, you can see how long their ad has been live. And on the weeks you write ten briefs instead of one, 1,681 templates are ready for your product.

Isn't this just a swipe file?

A swipe file keeps the whole ad, and you still have to work out which three seconds did the work. Here the first line is already pulled out, nearly every one links to the real ad, and most show how long that ad has been live.

Does a long run mean the ad worked?

It means the brand kept paying for it. Few brands do that for months with a loser, but treat it as where to start testing and let your own numbers decide.

Where do the hooks come from?

Paid supplement ads in the Meta Ad Library, plus a few organic reels our team saved, which are marked as reels.

Are any hooks risky to run?

Some hooks are crude or make health claims. They're all in the library, and each of those 208 carries a warning, so you know Meta may reject it before you brief it.

Do hooks come with on-screen text and visuals?

Where the source recorded them, yes: 19 supplement hooks today. Most carry the spoken line word for word, because that's what the Ad Library gives us.

Will it work for my product?

It covers gummies, creatine, greens, GLP-1 and weight loss, gut health, women's and men's health, sleep, collagen, electrolytes, nootropics, protein and kids. If you sell something next door, the templates are written to take your product.

How do I get in? Can I start today?

Yes. Your login arrives by email straight after you pay. The library runs in your browser on a phone or laptop, so there's nothing to install.

Why is there a quiz before I pay?

Seven taps. Your first answer decides what your library opens on, so you land on hooks for your product, not everyone's.

What if it's not for me?

Email hello@shaanks.com within 14 days and we refund the $19.
